Pyruvate kinase M2 (PKM2) is an isoform of pyruvate kinase that is expressed in certain differentiated cells and in proliferatively active cells. PKM2 is often overexpressed in cancer cells.

One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme required to transfer a phosphoryl group from phosphoenolpyruvate (PEP) to 1 pmol of ADP/min at 37°C.
Store at -70°C. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
