Feed Beta-Glucanase (Type H)

Cat No.
FBGG-001
Description
Feed Beta-Glucanase (Type H) is produced by submerged liquid fermentation of Trichoderma reesei. The enzyme system is composed mainly of endo-beta-1,4-glucanase together with beta-1,3-glucanase. It hydrolyzes beta-glucan in plant cell walls to small-molecule oligosaccharides and glucose, reducing the anti-nutritional effects of beta-glucan in feed and supporting nutrient absorption.
Source
Submerged liquid fermentation
Species
Trichoderma reesei
Applications
Degrades beta-glucan in plant-based feed, reducing digesta viscosity and improving nutrient digestibility.
Degrades plant cell wall structures, promoting release of intracellular nutrients and improving feed nutrient utilization.
Oligosaccharides formed during beta-glucan degradation help improve intestinal microecology, promote beneficial bacteria, and support animal disease resistance and production performance.
Appearance
Light yellow powder
Product Overview
This feed beta-glucanase preparation is intended for complete-feed applications. It has an optimum pH of 5.5 and retains relatively high activity from pH 3.0 to 7.0. After mixing with feed and treatment at 75-90°C for 5 minutes, activity remains relatively high at 85°C, indicating good stability under conventional high-temperature feed pelleting conditions.
Form
Powder
pH Stability
Relatively high activity across pH 3.0-7.0.
Composition
Primarily endo-beta-1,4-glucanase with beta-1,3-glucanase.
Optimum pH
5.5
Thermal stability
After mixing with feed and treatment at 75-90°C for 5 minutes, enzyme activity remains relatively high at 85°C. Conventional feed pelleting processes have minimal impact on performance.
Storage
Protect from light and store at low temperature in a dry, well-ventilated environment during transportation and storage. Keep in the original sealed packaging under cool, dry conditions.
Warnings
Enzyme preparations are proteinaceous substances. Inhalation of enzyme dust or aerosols may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, and prolonged contact may irritate the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Wear a face mask during handling to avoid inhaling enzyme dust. If contact with skin or eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
After opening, if the product is not fully used, securely reseal the bag or tighten the container lid to prevent loss of active components.
Function
Hydrolyzes beta-glucan in plant cell walls to oligosaccharides and glucose, helping reduce the anti-nutritional effects of beta-glucan in feed.
Substrates
Beta-glucan in plant cell walls
Reaction
Beta-glucan hydrolysis produces small-molecule oligosaccharides and glucose.
Advantages
Relatively high activity across pH 3.0-7.0.
Good stability under high-temperature feed-processing conditions.
Supports nutrient release and utilization by degrading beta-glucan and plant cell wall structures.
Usage
Recommended dosage: 20 g per metric ton of complete feed. Adjust the dosage according to specific feed formulation requirements.
