The enzyme from tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) gives 48% Δ-amyrin, 18% α-amyrin, 13% β-amyrin and traces of three or four other triterpenoid alcohols. See also EC 5.4.99.40, α-amyrin synthase and EC 5.4.99.39, β-amyrin synthase.
