Separation of enzymes. We target to isolate a variety of enzymes contained in the extract, and to isolate and purify a particular enzyme from the extract, we will choose a suitable isolation and purification method based on the characteristics of this enzyme. There are many methods for enzyme separation and purification, and we will choose different separation methods according to the specific research objectives. Some of the methods utilized in enzyme separation and purification are as follows.

  • Gel Electrophoresis. We use the colloid electrophoresis method to purify large molecules of biological enzymes, this method in the separation and purification of enzymes with a simple operation, separation effect is good.
  • Ion Exchange Separation Method. The ion exchange separation method is a method of separating proteins from other proteins by utilizing the electrostatic adsorption property of ion exchange resin. We use this method in cases where the number of proteins in the bio-enzyme extract is relatively small.
  • Column Chromatography. Column chromatography is a method in which the enzyme solution is passed through a column equipped with a layered column, and the proteins in the mixture are separated and purified by various column chromatography methods. We generally utilize this method when separating small molecules of biological enzymes.
  • Aggregation Method. We utilize this method to enable large-scale separation and purification of enzymes from the environment.
