Description

Acetyl hexapeptide-8, an end-model analog of the neural connectivity protein SNAP-25, can compete with SNAP-25 for binding to form the SNARE protein complex, normal SNAP-25 binding with SNARE triggers the release of acetylcholine at the nerve endpoints and neurotransmitter signaling proceeds.
Acetyl hexapeptide-8 causes the SNARE complex to become unstable, thus inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters, blocking muscle contraction, anti-wrinkle effect and the formation of fine lines. Unlike Botox neurotoxins, Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 does not cause irreversible damage! It has a safer characteristic.
