Description

A strongly anionic chromium-containing complex supplied as a colorless to slightly reddish, slightly viscous liquid for leather dye fixation.

Product Overview

The product promotes uptake and fixation of fatliquors and anionic materials and provides strong dye-fixing performance. It can increase dye concentration and brightness, improve wet-rub resistance, and, at sufficient dosage, support flatter leather, finer grain, higher tensile strength, and reduced loose-grain tendency.

Warnings

For dye fixation, use after dye and fatliquor are essentially exhausted following acid fixation so that unexhausted tanning agents, fatliquors, or dyes in the residual bath are not deposited on the leather surface.
