Bacillus clausii is a Gram-positive, rod-shaped, motile, and spore-forming bacterium that lives in the soil but is also a natural microflora of the mammalian gastriontestinal tract. It is a commonly used Bacillus spp. probiotic. There are studies proved it to be useful in preventing and treating various gastrointestinal disorders.
