Black elderberry extract is a deep purple, fine powder produced from the fruits of Sambucus nigra L. (Sambucus genus, Caprifoliaceae family). Its main components are anthocyanins (25% content) and flavonoids (such as rutin and quercetin). This standardized extract is produced via a gentle water or water-alcohol co-extraction process designed to preserve bioactive anthocyanins. The product formulation is designed to provide a high concentration of polyphenols with proven immune-supporting and antioxidant activity.
