Description

Caprylyl/Capryl glucoside is a nonionic surfactant derived from glucose and octanol or decanol. It offers excellent foaming properties, good skin compatibility, and is readily biodegradable, primarily used in skincare and cosmetics as a mild cleanser and emulsifier.

Applications

This product is commonly used in shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, and hand soaps; for industrial hard-surface cleaning; as high-temperature, strong-alkali-resistant scouring agents in the textile industry; and as foaming agents in oil drilling. It is also used as emulsifiers, dispersants, and synergists in agricultural formulations.
