Description

A concentrated liquid high-range water reducer based mainly on sodium beta-naphthalene sulfonate-formaldehyde condensate for concrete processing.

Applications

Suitable for roads, bridges, tunnels, ports, industrial and civil construction, including C10-C80 concrete such as high-strength, early-strength, flowing, self-compacting, steam-cured, prestressed, and waterproof concrete.

Appearance

Black-brown liquid.

Package

Tanker supply; 200 kg iron drums or 50 kg plastic drums may be used where required.

Product Overview

The concentrated formulation provides high water reduction and plasticizing performance, improves concrete workability, compactness, and durability, and can reduce cement demand at comparable slump and strength. Low sulfate content helps reduce crystallization risk in cold weather, and the product does not promote corrosion of reinforcing steel.

Storage

Store in sealed containers and protect from water evaporation and rain. Shelf life: 1 year; after expiry, use only after testing confirms suitability.

Density: 1.20 +/- 0.003 g/cm3.
Sodium sulfate: <=2%.
Solids: 40 +/- 0.5%.
pH: 7-9.

Usage

Dosage range: 0.8-2.5% based on cementitious material; typical dosage: 1.2-1.8%. Water-reduction rate: 14-25%, and up to 30% at the upper dosage. Typical strength increases: 1-day 60-80%, 3-day 40-60%, 28-day 25-44%. Cement consumption may be reduced by approximately 10-20% at comparable slump and strength. Conduct trial mixing before use and extend mixing time by at least 30 seconds after addition.
