Deoxyribonucleic Acid Sodium Salt from Salmon Milt

Cat No.
EXTZ-910
Description
Deoxyribonucleic Acid Sodium Salt from Salmon Milt is a purified DNA sodium salt extracted from salmon milt, a rich and sustainable source of high-molecular-weight nucleic acids. The extraction and purification process removes proteins, lipids, and other impurities to yield a white to off-white lyophilized powder containing predominantly salmon-derived DNA polydeoxyribonucleotide fractions. In cosmetic and personal care formulations, salmon DNA sodium salt is valued as a premium bioactive ingredient: its polyanionic carbohydrate backbone binds water strongly, providing long-lasting moisturization and film-forming protection, while its nucleotide components support antioxidant activity and help soothe stressed or mature skin. It is widely used in ampoules, serums, sheet masks, and regenerating creams, often combined with peptides and hyaluronic acid. The material is also a classic molecular biology reagent for DNA-binding, transformation, and polymer studies.
