Description

1. Contains DNA 3'-phosphatase: hydrolyzes 3'-terminal phosphate monoesters and can hydrolyze hydrolyzed DNA from the 3'-end.
2. Contains AP endonuclease: cleaves the phosphodiester bond at the purine or pyrimidine site, generating a base-free deoxyribose 5'-phosphate residue at the 5'-end of the residue.
3. Ribonuclease H activity: degrades RNA strands in DNA-RNA hybrid double strands.
4. Digests double-stranded DNA at the gap in the single-stranded interstices.
5. Will not degrade double-stranded DNA, single-stranded DNA, or phosphorothioate-conjugated nucleotides with at least 4 base pair overhangs.
