Feed Xylanase (Type L)

Cat No.
FXLG-001
Description
Feed Xylanase (Type L) is produced by submerged liquid fermentation of Trichoderma reesei followed by downstream processing. It degrades xylan in feed, improving utilization of nutrients in feed raw materials, supporting greater use of unconventional plant-based feed ingredients, reducing feed costs, enhancing animal production performance, and reducing environmental pollution associated with animal excretion.
Source
Submerged liquid fermentation
Species
Trichoderma reesei
Applications
Degrades non-starch polysaccharides in feed, reducing digesta viscosity in the gastrointestinal tract.
Disrupts plant cell walls to release nutrients and improve nutrient digestibility.
Enhances feed metabolizable energy, reduces formulation costs, and improves feed product quality.
Xylo-oligosaccharides produced by xylanase hydrolysis promote beneficial intestinal bacteria and help regulate gut microecological balance.
Reduces fecal discharge.
Appearance
Light yellow powder
Product Overview
This feed xylanase preparation is intended for use in complete feed. It has an optimum pH of 5.0 and retains relatively high activity across pH 3.0-7.5. After being mixed with feed and treated at 75-95°C for 5 minutes, it retains relatively high activity at 85°C, indicating good stability under high-temperature feed-processing conditions.
Form
Powder
pH Stability
Relatively high activity across pH 3.0-7.5.
Optimum pH
5.0
Thermal stability
After mixing with feed and treatment at 75-95°C for 5 minutes, enzyme activity remains relatively high at 85°C. Conventional feed pelleting processes have minimal impact on performance.
Storage
Protect from light and store at low temperature in a dry, well-ventilated environment during transportation and storage. Keep in the original sealed packaging under cool, dry conditions.
Warnings
Enzyme preparations are proteinaceous substances. Inhalation of enzyme dust or aerosols may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals, and prolonged contact may irritate the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. Wear a face mask during handling to avoid inhaling enzyme dust. If contact with skin or eyes occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
After opening, if the product is not fully used, securely reseal the bag or tighten the container lid to prevent loss of active components.
Function
Degrades xylan and other non-starch polysaccharides in feed, helping reduce gastrointestinal digesta viscosity and improve nutrient release.
Substrates
Xylan; non-starch polysaccharides in feed
Reaction
Xylan hydrolysis produces xylo-oligosaccharides.
Advantages
Relatively high activity across pH 3.0-7.5.
Good stability under high-temperature feed-processing conditions.
Supports nutrient utilization and feed quality while reducing digesta viscosity.
Usage
Recommended dosage: 60-120 g per metric ton of complete feed. Adjust the dosage according to specific feed formulation requirements.
