Fmoc-9-amino-4,7-dioxanonanoic Acid

Cat No.
CEGZ-6754
Description
Fmoc-9-amino-4,7-dioxanonanoic acid is an Fmoc-protected, PEG-like spacer building block used in peptide synthesis and conjugation research.
Applications
Peptide synthesis building block
Hydrophilic spacer for conjugation chemistry
Laboratory research and development
Product Overview
Fmoc-ADO-OH (Fmoc-9-amino-4,7-dioxanonanoic acid) consists of a terminal Fmoc-protected amine, two ether oxygens forming a short hydrophilic spacer, and a terminal carboxylic acid. The Fmoc group can be removed under basic conditions to release the free amine for further conjugation, while the carboxylic acid can be activated for amide-bond formation. The PEG-like spacer increases the solubility and flexibility of the constructs into which it is incorporated.
