Product Overview

Fmoc-AEEA-AEEA-OH consists of two consecutive AEEA (aminoethoxyethoxyacetyl) units bearing a terminal Fmoc-protected amine and a terminal carboxylic acid. The extended hydrophilic spacer increases the solubility and flexibility of constructs into which it is incorporated. The Fmoc group can be removed under basic conditions to release the free amine for further conjugation, while the carboxylic acid can be activated for amide-bond formation.
