Product Overview

Fmoc-NH-PEG8-COOH is a monodisperse polyethylene glycol spacer containing eight ethylene glycol units, with an Fmoc-protected amine at one end and a terminal carboxylic acid at the other. The long hydrophilic spacer increases the solubility and flexibility of constructs into which it is incorporated. The Fmoc group can be removed under basic conditions to release the free amine for further conjugation, while the carboxylic acid can be activated for amide-bond formation.
