Product Overview

Fmoc-Trp(Boc)-OH carries base-labile Fmoc protection on the α-amino group and a Boc group on the indole nitrogen of the tryptophan side chain. Indole protection suppresses oxidation and alkylation side reactions during synthesis and cleavage, and the Boc group is removed during final TFA treatment.
