Description

Industrial chromium trioxide is a purple-red crystalline inorganic oxidizer. The industrial material is supplied as dark-red flakes and is readily deliquescent.

Applications

Used for chromium plating, metal passivation, preparation of chromium-containing catalysts and chrome-yellow pigments, oxidizing-agent applications, and wood-preservation formulations.
