Description

L-Tyrosine is a naturally occurring aromatic amino acid and the biosynthetic precursor of catecholamine neurotransmitters, thyroid hormones, and melanin. This product is supplied as white needle-like crystals or crystalline powder; it is odorless with a bitter taste, sparingly soluble in water (about 0.04% at 25 °C), insoluble in absolute ethanol, ether, and acetone, and soluble in dilute acids and alkalis.

Applications
