One unit of β-mannanase is the amount of enzyme that hydrolyzes a 3 mg/mL mannan solution to release 1 μmol of reducing sugar, calculated as mannose, per minute at 37°C and pH 5.5.

Storage

Keep sealed in a cool, dry place and protect from direct sunlight. Shelf life: 12 months at 20°C under dry and cool conditions.
