Cat No.
CEGZ-6967
Description
Nα-Boc-D-2,3-diaminopropionic acid is the α-Boc-protected form of the non-proteinogenic amino acid D-2,3-diaminopropionic acid, with a free β-amino side chain and a free carboxyl group. The Boc group is removed under acidic conditions.
Applications
Used as a building block in peptide synthesis for the preparation of diaminopropionic acid-containing peptides and D-amino acid peptide analogues in pharmaceutical research.
Product Overview
Diaminopropionic acid is the shortest diamino acid building block and occurs in a number of peptide antibiotics. D-Configured residues additionally confer resistance to proteolytic degradation in synthetic peptides.
