Description

Nα-Fmoc-glycine N-hydroxysuccinimide ester is the pre-activated form of Fmoc-glycine in which the carboxyl group is converted into an N-hydroxysuccinimide (OSu) active ester. It reacts directly with free amino groups to form amide bonds without the need for additional coupling reagents.

Applications

Used for the Fmoc protection of amino groups and the introduction of glycine residues in peptide synthesis, bioconjugation, and the preparation of peptide intermediates.
