Description

Nα-Fmoc-L-glutamic acid γ-allyl ester is an orthogonally protected glutamic acid derivative for Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis. The allyl ester protects the γ-carboxyl group and is removed by palladium-catalyzed deallylation under nearly neutral conditions.

Applications

Used in solid-phase peptide synthesis for site-selective side-chain modification of glutamic acid residues, including the preparation of cyclic and branched peptides and peptide conjugates.
