Nα-Fmoc-L-threoninol

Cat No.
CEGZ-6929
Description
Nα-Fmoc-L-threoninol is the Fmoc-protected form of L-threoninol, the amino alcohol obtained by reduction of the carboxyl group of threonine. It retains the threonine stereocenters and bears a primary hydroxyl group in place of the carboxylic acid.
Applications
Used as a building block in peptide and peptidomimetic synthesis, in the preparation of C-terminal peptide alcohols, and as a chiral intermediate in medicinal chemistry research.
Product Overview
Amino alcohol building blocks are used to introduce C-terminal or internal hydroxyl functionality into peptides and peptidomimetics, and threoninol derivatives also serve as chiral intermediates in the synthesis of complex natural products and modified peptides.
