Description

Nα-Fmoc-Nγ-MTT-L-2,4-diaminobutyric acid is an orthogonally protected diaminobutyric acid derivative for Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis. The 4-methyltrityl (MTT) group protects the γ-amino side chain and is removed under very mild acidic conditions that leave Boc and tert-butyl protections intact.

Applications

Used in solid-phase peptide synthesis for site-selective side-chain modification of 2,4-diaminobutyric acid residues, including the preparation of branched and cyclic peptides and peptide conjugates.
