Description

Nα-Fmoc-Nδ-trityl-D-ornithine is an ornithine derivative protected with the Fmoc group at the α-amino position and the bulky, acid-labile trityl group at the δ-amino side chain. The trityl protection is removed under mild acidic conditions.

Applications

Used in solid-phase peptide synthesis for the preparation of ornithine-containing peptides and for side-chain selective modification in peptide analogues.
