Product Overview

Fmoc-Gln(Trt)-OH carries base-labile Fmoc protection on the α-amino group and an acid-labile trityl group on the glutamine side-chain amide. Trityl protection improves solubility in coupling solvents and suppresses dehydration and other side reactions at the amide, and it is removed during final TFA cleavage.
