Nα-Fmoc-O-tert-butyl-L-seryl-L-threonine Pseudoproline Dipeptide

Cat No.
CEGZ-6917
Description
Nα-Fmoc-O-tert-butyl-L-seryl-L-threonine pseudoproline dipeptide is a dipeptide building block in which the threonine residue is cyclized into a 2,2-dimethyloxazolidine (pseudoproline) ring. The pseudoproline is stable to standard coupling conditions and is converted back to threonine during final acidolytic deprotection.
Applications
Used in solid-phase peptide synthesis of aggregation-prone, hydrophobic, or long peptide sequences to improve solvation of the growing chain and to increase overall synthesis efficiency.
Product Overview
Pseudoproline dipeptides are established tools for disrupting interchain aggregation and β-sheet formation during solid-phase peptide synthesis, thereby improving coupling yields and crude purity in long or difficult peptide sequences.
