Product Overview

H-Arg(Pbf)-OH carries the acid-labile Pbf (2,2,4,6,7-pentamethyldihydrobenzofuran-5-sulfonyl) group on the guanidino side chain of L-arginine, leaving the α-amino and carboxyl groups free. Pbf protection suppresses side reactions at the guanidino group and is removed during final TFA cleavage.
