Description

Potassium phosphate salts (in single, double or triple phosphate forms) are available in two grades - food grade and industrial grade. They are supplied in crystalline powder or solution form. The food grade complies with food additive regulations, ensuring low levels of heavy metals and suitability for direct contact with food, and is used as a buffer and nutritional supplement in dairy products, beverages and food processing. The industrial grade provides reliable buffering capacity for high-volume processing. It has excellent pH buffering action, high solubility and minimal ionic interference, and is used in fermentation media, downstream processing of biopharmaceuticals and industrial cleaning formulations.
