Description

A powdered high-range concrete water reducer based mainly on sodium beta-naphthalene sulfonate-formaldehyde condensate with strengthening components.

Product Overview

The admixture provides high water reduction and plasticizing action, can improve early and later compressive strength, and supports workability, compactness, durability, and reduced cement demand at comparable slump and strength. It can be used in high-strength, early-strength, flowing, steam-cured, prestressed, and waterproof concrete and does not promote reinforcing-steel corrosion.

Storage

Store dry. Shelf life in dry condition: 2 years; after expiry, use only after testing confirms suitability.

Warnings

When prepared as a liquid solution below 10°C, sodium sulfate crystals may form; heating or lowering solution concentration may be required.

Shipping Conditions

Transport as dry bagged material and protect from moisture.

Quality

Cement paste fluidity: >=220 mm.
Sodium sulfate: <=20%.
pH: 7-9.

Usage

Dosage: 0.5-1.5%; recommended 0.75-1.0%. Water-reduction rate: 14-25%. Typical strength increases: 1-day 60-80%, 3-day 40-60%, 28-day 20-40%. At comparable slump and strength, cement consumption may be reduced by approximately 10-20%. Conduct trial mixing when first used or when cement type changes. Extend mixing time by at least 30 seconds after addition.
