In vivo

Experiment 1: BALB/c nude male mice (18-22 g, 6-8 weeks) with chemotherapy-induced tumor lysis syndrome received rasburicase at 0.2 mg/kg by intravenous injection once daily for 5-7 days. Serum uric acid was significantly reduced by 86%, and uric acid crystal deposition and renal injury were prevented.

Experiment 2: Mice received 100 µg by intravenous injection on days -3, 0, and +3. Anti-rasburicase antibody production was inhibited, splenic antigen-specific B-cell and T-cell numbers were reduced, and the proportion of regulatory T cells was increased.
