Cat No.
CEGZ-6734
Description
Rink Amide Linker is an acid-labile linker used in Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis to produce C-terminal peptide amides.
Applications
Fmoc solid-phase peptide synthesis
Peptide synthesis building block
Laboratory research and development
Product Overview
Rink Amide Linker, chemically 4-[(2,4-dimethoxyphenyl)(Fmoc-amino)methyl]phenoxyacetic acid and also known as the Knorr linker, is attached to an amino-functionalized resin through its carboxylic acid group. After Fmoc removal and stepwise peptide assembly, treatment with trifluoroacetic acid cleaves the linker to release the peptide as its C-terminal amide.
