Description

A composite concrete pumping admixture formulated from a naphthalene-based high-range water reducer together with slump-retaining, air-entraining, strength-enhancing, and water-retaining components.

Applications

Designed for long-distance transport and site pumping of ready-mixed concrete, especially medium- and low-strength concrete and mixes up to approximately C40.

Product Overview

The admixture provides early-strength and strengthening effects, can improve impermeability and frost resistance, extends initial and final setting while allowing normal later hydration, and supports slump retention with reduced slump loss. It may be used with hard gypsum and phosphogypsum-regulated cement after compatibility testing and does not promote corrosion of reinforcing steel.

Storage

Store in the original sealed package above 0°C. Shelf life: 6 months.

Warnings

Avoid excessive dosage because over-retardation may cause construction-quality problems and insufficient dosage may not provide the intended protective effect.

Transport in drums, tankers, or bulk containers; protect from rain and water.

Quality

Density: 1.10-1.16.
pH: 7-9.

Usage

Normal dosage range: 1.5-2.5%; typical dosage: 2.0%. Determine the optimum dosage by trial. For first use or when changing cement type, conduct an adaptability test. Calculate water reduction on the basis of total cementitious material. When added during mixing, extend mixing time by at least 30 seconds; the product may be added after mixing water in one addition.
