Description

tert-Butyl carbazate is a Boc-protected hydrazine derivative in which one nitrogen of hydrazine carries the tert-butoxycarbonyl group and the other remains free as a nucleophilic hydrazine terminus. The Boc group is removed under acidic conditions.
