Description
Anti-Aging Trifluoroacetyl Tripeptide-2 targets cellular aging from the nucleus. It reduces progerin, enhances cell purification, protects the extracellular matrix, and combats skin aging.
Mechanism of Action:
1. Inhibits Progerin Synthesis: Slows down cellular aging by reducing the production of progerin, a protein associated with premature aging.
2. Promotes Syndecan Production: Increases the lifespan of cells by stimulating the production of syndecan, a multifunctional proteoglycan.
3. Inhibits Matrix Metalloproteinases (MMP1, MMP3, MMP9): Reduces the degradation of extracellular matrix proteins, maintaining their integrity.
4. Inhibits Elastase Activity: Decreases the breakdown of elastin, promoting firmer and more elastic skin.
5. Inhibits Tyrosinase Activity: Reduces the production of dopachrome, thereby lowering melanin levels and potentially leading to a more even skin tone.
